We believe the GOSPEL.

The Bible teaches that the most important issue in life is to be in a right relationship with your Creator, the living God. This is more important than family, friends, work or leisure. What you think about God touches every part of your life. It will determine how you live this life, and where you spend the next.

The problem…

The Bible is God’s Word to all humanity. The Bible teaches us that God is entirely holy, perfect and without any sin.

Isaiah 6:3  And one called to another and said: “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts;  the whole earth is full of his glory!”

God’s holiness is complete and He cannot tolerate sin in His presence. The problem is that we are sinful. Sin is every thought, desire, word and deed that offends God. We are utterly sinful; we sin everyday in many ways. We sin because we are born sinners; it is in our very nature. Our sinful nature is inherited from our first parents, Adam and Eve. They were created by God without sin but chose to rebel against God. Like a virus, sin has spread from Adam through all humanity and contaminated every part of our world.

Romans 5:12 Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because all sinned

We are sinners and due to our sin God cannot allow us into his presence nor into His home, heaven.

Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

The solution…

Psalm 16:11 You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy;  at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.

God created us to know Him and enjoy Him and live in relationship to Him. He still desires this reality for you. God is merciful and compassionate and has made a way for you to be forgiven of your sins and brought back into a right relationship with God.

God promised this deliverance the very day Adam sinned in the garden of Eden. God promised that He would send a redeemer through the children of Eve. Throughout the Bible God continued this promise until He brought it to fulfillment in Jesus. Around two thousand years ago Jesus was born in Bethlehem. He is the Son of God and Son of man. He lived a selfless and sinless life before God and man. Yet he was killed as a common criminal. His death was the completion of God’s promise, arranged by God.

Isaiah 53:10  Yet it was the will of the Lord to crush him; he has put him to grief;  when his soul makes an offering for guilt, he shall see his offspring; he shall prolong his days; the will of the Lord shall prosper in his hand.

God penalised Jesus as for our sins as our substitute. This sentence of death was ours to bear but Jesus bore instead. Yet Jesus did not remain in the grave. The days later He arose from the dead in victory over sin and death. The resurrection life and victory Jesus shares with all those who repent and believe in Him. Salvation from sin and death is found in Jesus alone.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Your response…

We are all sinners who have fallen short of God’s perfect standard. Yet God’s love for the entire world has been displayed through Jesus.

John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

Your sin debt can be forgiven through Christ. You can have new life in Him. This wonderful news, the Gospel is a free offer to those who confess their sin to God and believe that Jesus. Have you acknowledged you sin before God? Have you called out to Him forgiveness and salvation through Jesus? We warmly invite you to call out to God today.

Romans 10:9–11 because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. 11 For the Scripture says, “Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame.”
